Section 01Program name

WaterOut Michigan Restoration LLC Customer Service Messaging.

Section 02Program description

WaterOut operates a two-way customer-service text messaging program on our business number +1 (586) 210-6797. Through this program we send appointment confirmations, technician-on-the-way updates, missed-call auto-replies, invoice notifications, and direct responses from our office team to customers who have engaged us for water damage mitigation, structural drying, demolition and tear-out, containment, sewage cleanup, or related services. This is not a marketing program.

Section 03Who can message us, and how you opt in

Any customer, prospective customer, or property owner who wants to reach our team. You become part of the program when you:

  • Text or call our business number +1 (586) 210-6797, which is published on our website, Google Business Profile, service invoices, and vehicle signage.
  • Provide your mobile phone number on our service intake form or signed work authorization.
  • Verbally provide your mobile number to a WaterOut technician or office staff during a service visit.

All three methods constitute express consent to receive service-related SMS from WaterOut. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Section 04Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the stage of your job. A typical job involves 3 to 10 SMS exchanges from intake to invoice. If we call you and you do not pick up, you will receive one automatic missed-call reply per incoming call, capped at once per hour per number.

Section 05Cost

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. WaterOut does not charge you for messages. Your carrier may.

Section 06How to opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Opt-out is honored immediately and permanently. You will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out. After that, we will not send you any further messages unless you opt back in. You can also opt out by:
